The Yukon Fringe Festival is honoured to host performances on the banks of Chu Níikwän, the “great river.” This land carries the footsteps and stories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, whose histories are braided into this river valley like roots and water. We recognize that their presence is not a thing of the past, but alive, evolving, and shaping this place still. May our work here respect and uphold that continuity in stewardship.
